Hey folks,

I'll be opening up for Viva El Paso at the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheater on June 11th! Tickets are $28.50 per adult and $10.00 per child. I'll be performing a 25 minute acoustic set in the 1,503 seat (whoa!) amphitheater! Viva El Paso, a musical play which tells the story of how El Paso was founded will then begin and last for 2 hours. This play is spectacular. You've got to see it! I sure hope to see you out there! :)

Hey all,

I'll be performing in Albuquerque, NM on April 24th at the Melon Mountain Cafe at 7pm. Also performing is my friend and local ABQ musician Cynical Bird! This Friday (April 2nd) at the Percolator (217 N. Stanton) at 8pm we'll be doing the CD release show for my new album, "Between You and I"! I'm really looking forward to it. It should be a great show. We have a great line-up which includes Ramon Alvarado, Jamie Hernandez of Jayden's Playground and also Emily Davis! The cover charge will be $2.00 per person at the door. Well, the album is nearing completion! We're about 90% complete with the recording/editing/mixing process. We did end up changing the track listing from what was posted here previously, but I'm not giving away the current track listing just yet! You'll just have to wait and be surprised BUT I will tell you that the album is entitled Between You and I. It should be out within the next couple of months so hang tight!

So we've been in the studio for the past two weeks working on the album. It's been a ton of work but it's also been a blast! The album is coming along nicely and I'm super excited for everyone to hear it. There is still no release date or track listing yet, but I'll make sure to let everyone know once we've got it all figured out on our end.

Yes! It's true. Like the title of this entry say's, we're currently in the process of getting things set up to step into the studio to record the first studio Patrick Kell album. I have big plans for this album and I plan on incorporating many great musicians as a part of it. There is no track listing yet. I haven't decided completely as to which songs or how many songs will be on it.

We'll keep you posted though! Just wanted to give you an update so far. I hope you all are doing well and I hope to see you soon!

On Saturday (March 7th) we're having an awesome show at the Percolator in downtown El Paso. The show includes performances by Randy Vega, myself, Iris Lopez, and the band Huis Clos. I'll be performing an intimate a solo acoustic set. The show starts at 8pm and there is a $3.00 cover charge to see the show. If you're on my guest list the cover charge is only $1.00! I have limited space on my guest list so let me know soon if you want in on that! :)

The show is all ages. Beverages that are sold at the percolator include beer & wine (21+ id required) and coffee.

Please come out and support your local music. Come and say hello to me and I'll buy you a beer or the drink of your choice! :)

Since my CD release show is right around the corner, the El Paso Times decided it would be cool to do a video feature about me for their Listening Booth music blog. Check it out!

It's finally ready! The new revised edition of Food For Thought featuring Nick Bustillos on drums is finally ready and we're throwing a big CD release show to kick it off!

The show will be on June 20th at 9pm at The Hidden Hookah Lounge on Lee Trevino in El Paso, TX. Check out the calendar date's page for more information!

Unfortunately my drummer and I had to decide on canceling our tour which was supposed to start tomorrow. About a week and a half ago my drummer was in a serious car accident and he was severely injured leaving him unable to play drums and/or travel. He's out of the hospital now but is staying in a rehabilitation center. I could've gone on the tour and played solo, but it just wouldn't feel right under these circumstances. The doctors have informed Nick that he'll recover in about 3 to 6 months. Once he can play the drums again and once he feels fit to travel we'll immediatley start setting up the tour again.

We apologize to everyone and we'll see you all soon! We promise! :)
